Dusty Columbia Embury Wright State University, USA

Dusty currently serves as an associate professor and the Learning and Behavior Disabilities program coordinator for the Department of Special Education, College of Education, at Eastern Kentucky University. She is a participatory action researcher interested in collaboration in school settings, both P-12 and higher education. Recent publications focus on access to curriculum and safety for students with significant disabilities, frameworks for collaborative teaching, as well as entries in the Encyclopedia of Action Research, and a chapter on online action research in the SAGE Handbook of Action Research. She is a member of the editorial board of Action Research and supports the website AR+, a virtual community of action researchers sharing research, knowledge, and experiences.
