Elaine Reese University of Otago, New Zealand
Elaine Reese is a professor of Psychology at the University of Otago. Elaine received her MA and PhD in Developmental Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and has worked at the University of Otago since 1993. She conducts longitudinal studies of cognitive and social development, and is an advisor for the Growing Up in New Zealand longitudinal study. Her co-edited book, Contemporary Debates in Childhood Education and Development, was published by Routledge in 2012, and her book, Tell Me a Story: Sharing Stories to Enrich Your Child’s World, was published by Oxford University Press in 2013.
