Dr. Katherine Davies is lecturer in Sociology at The University of Sheffield. She has undertaken numerous qualitative research projects exploring relationships with family and friends and has most recently completed an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC)-funded study investigating the social relationships at the heart of shared living. Her current research is a British Academy–funded project exploring how Brexit was discussed and experienced in familial relationships. She has published work in the areas of intimacy and personal relationships and qualitative research methods.
