Associate Professor Matt McDonald is a Reader in International Relations in the School of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Queensland, where he teaches international relations, security studies and foreign policy. He is co-editor (with Paul Williams) of Security Studies: An Introduction (Routledge, 2018 3rd edition) and is the author of Ecological Security: Climate Change and the Construction of Security (Cambridge University Press, 2021), Security, the Environment and Emancipation (Routledge, 2012) and co-author (with Anthony Burke and Katrina Lee-Koo) of Ethics and Global Security (Routledge, 2014).
