Yi SI Xi'an Jiaotong University, China
Dr. Yi SI is Associate Professor of Accountancy of the School of Management, Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU). Prior to joining XJTU, he was an Assistant Professor of Accountancy at Xiamen University.
He obtained his BBAs in financial management and economics degrees from Xiamen University with distinction, and his Ph.D. degrees in Business Administration and Accountancy from Xi’an Jiaotong University and City University of Hong Kong under the joint supervision of Prof. Gaoliang TIAN, Prof. Jeong-bon KIM, and Prof. Bing LI.
His research interests are in auditing, financial accounting, and tax avoidance. He has published over 30 refereed journal articles in scholarly journals in accounting, finance, and management, out of which more than 20 articles were published in XJTU A level journals as AUDITING: A Journal of Practice & Theory, European Accounting Review, Journal of Business Ethics, Nankai Business Review (in Chinese), Journal of Management Science (in Chinese), Journal of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management (in Chinese), System Engineering Theory and Practice (in Chinese). He currently serves as the referees for British Journal of Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Accounting and Finance, and Asia-Pacific Journal of Accounting and Economics. His research was awarded “the Best Paper Award of 2019 American Accounting Association Mid-year Conference in Miami” and “Top 10 Young Scholars in XJTU”.
