Achieving QTLS Series
Some useful information contained in this book, good for keeping up-to-date with the latest teaching methods
Recommend to all PTLLS students
This book has been of great help to my students in preparing for their assignments on the PTLLS course this year. I have also referred students on a PGCE/Cert Ed course that I have taught to reference this title.
A good all round book for all teacher that are new to their role or that have returned after a break - Well written , researched and presented - A must have - new Bible for Teachers in LLL
A useful book to dip into for additional research if undertaking PTLLS.
Easy to read with good activities to help improve and understand teaching skills
A very useful text to underpin initial teacher education for those teaching across the lifelong learning sector. Students have found this to be most useful when suporting their own approaches via reference to practices practitioners
Out of the three books we reviewed this was our least favourite. However, it is a very well-written book, well orgainised and with very explanations. We just felt that for our courses only parts of it were relevant.
A great all round book that 'fills the gaps' on the wider role of the teacher in the LLS.
A useful resource for new teachers
