Eugenio Bertelli, Ph.D.
Dr. Eugenio Bertelli is Associated Professor at the Department of Molecular and Developmental Medicine of the University of Siena. He got an MD in 1988 and subsequently a PhD in Anatomy 1995. He is an anatomist and cell biologist with research interests covering pancreatic biology, intermediate filaments, mucosal immunology, vascular and eye anatomy. In such fields, he has published more than 60 articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
He is member of the Editorial boards of Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry, and Journal of Molecular Histology.
