Kathy K. Wright, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC Chatham University, USA

Dr. Wright Received her master’s degree and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner training from the University of Texas at Austin, she then pursued Pediatric Cardiology. She work as a manager in a five physician Pediatric Cardiology practice and as coordinator of a Pediatric Congenital Heart program. She went on to become Director of Nursing for the State of Florida’s Children with Special Health Care Needs program Ocala area office in charge of five counties and 6,000 children. Additionally, she was the area coordinator for the Palliative Care program for children in the five-county area of Florida. In 2008 Dr. Wright was selected into the Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellowship three -year leadership program. She went on to complete her doctoral studies with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Loyola University, New Orleans. Dr. Wright has been teaching and developing online Nursing courses for the past 10 years in various areas of nursing curricula to provide the best opportunity for students to advance their knowledge and careers in Nursing. She is currently the coordinator of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at Maryville University in St Louis, MO.
