Robert Rick Minnesota State, Takoda Institute, Minneapolis
Dr. Robert Rick is an Assistant Professor at Minnesota State, an Adjunct Statistics Professor at Augsburg University, and a Volunteer Math and Science Teacher for the Minneapolis Takoda Institute of Higher Education. A life-long learner, he completed his 2015 Walden University Health Services Management and Policy Ph.D. following a professional career of 12 years CVS Health analytics, 5 years NIH/NCI Principle Investigator for Native American women’s’ cancer prevention, and 8 years University of Minnesota teaching and biostatistical consulting. The dissertation title is “Marketplace Clinics Complementing Community Based Diabetes Care for Urban Residing American Indians”. His 1976 University of Minnesota MPH thesis is “Tay Sachs Disease Screening and Database Management”. A Registered Professional Industrial Engineer, he received the United Health meritorious grant award and Mayo Clinic keynote address honoraria.
