Daniel Scherman, PhD INSERM, France

 Professor Daniel Scherman is specialized in gene and drug delivery and in bio-imaging. Several of his discoveries are in Phase III clinical development. He has been Scientific Director of the Genethon Laboratory and has headed a joint Laboratory between the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) and the Sanofi-Aventis pharmaceutical company. He has contributed to more than 320 scientific articles in reviewed journals, to more than 50 book chapters, and is Editor of the “"Handbook of Gene Therapy and Genetic Pharmacology”, Imperial College Press".
