By far, students who have used Introduction to School Counseling have improved their school counseling exam scores significantly. Students mention that the information in the text is an excellent primer for what to expect in practicum and in their career as a school counselor. I really like the comprehensive coverage of topics in this book. I cannot adopt it for this next year, 2011-2012 as I have had to turn in the textbook order to my school bookstore already.
I am seriously considering this book for next year's class. By then, I hope to be more familiar with the contents of the text to give me a better perspective.
