Anna-Maija Lämsä Professor of Human Resource Management, School of Business and Economics, Jyväskylä University, Finland

Anna-Maija Lämsä is Professor of Human Resource Management at the School of Business and Economics of Jyväskylä University, Finland. She is leading the research group called Ethos (Organisational Ethics, Leadership and Human Resource Management). Currently, she is co-leader and principal investigator in the WeAll Consortium ((Re)searching for Equality in Working Life, weallfinland.fi) funded by the Strategic Research Council (SRC) at the Academy of Finland. Her research interests are in ethical approaches to management, leadership and organizations, diversity and equality in working life, work-family relationship, leadership development and gender, leadership careers and gender. She has published extensively both abroad and Finland. Her work has appeared in journals like Journal of Business Ethics; Gender, Work and Organization; International Journal of Human Resource Management; Business Ethics: A European Review; Scandinavian Journal of Management; Baltic Journal of Management; Gender in Management; Journal of Workplace Learning, Leadership & Organization Development Journal; Journal of Global Mobility, and Transformations in Business and Economics. She has published three textbooks in Finland and won the Edita award for her textbooks in 2005. She has received international awards for her research. In addition to her work in the academia, she has worked as recruitment consultant, teacher and project manager. She has been a member of several boards of directors in non-governmental organizations and is active in various charity organizations.
