Jike Cui WuXi NextCODE, USA

Dr. Cui is an experienced computational biologist, a machine learning expert, and also a passionate programmer with key contribution to the open-source community-driven tranSMART platform for integrated molecular and clinical data analyses. His work experience has included Takeda, Sanofi, WuXi NextCODE, and senior principal data scientist at Oracle Cancer Research Cloud team.

Dr. Cui has published 21 papers, including three in PNAS (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences). He earned his PhD at Boston University where he was advised by biologist Dr. J. Samuelson and bioinformatics pioneer Dr. T. Smith, the co-author of Smith-Waterman Algorithm. He did his postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School.
