Lourdes Baezconde-Garbanati, PhD, MPH, is professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and director of the Center for Health Equity in the Americas at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. She is an expert in community-based research and in the development and testing of culturally grounded public health interventions, innovative communication campaigns, and policy initiatives.
