Michelle Moseley Royal College of Nursing, UK

Michelle Moseley is the Education and Lifelong Learning Adviser at RCN Wales. Michelle is registered general nurse, sick children’s nurse, health visitor, and nurse educator. Her specialist area of teaching and learning is associated with public health nursing where she managed the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) programme (health visiting) within the School of Healthcare Sciences (HCARE), at Cardiff University as well as undertaking other roles including under-graduate education lead and director of learning in practice. Michelle is passionate about safeguarding and was awarded the RCN Wales Nurse of the year Award for Safeguarding in 2018. Also in 2019, the SCPHN team at HCARE were awarded the SNTA Post-registration educators of the year. In 2020 Michelle was awarded Senior Lecturer and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.  Michelle continues to write and teach, delivering public health and safeguarding sessions at Cardiff University. Michelle commenced a PhD in 2018 on a part-time basis and is exploring how supportive safeguarding supervision is for health visitors. Michelle’s portfolio within RCN Wales covers Education, lifelong learning, CYP nursing, safeguarding, RTP, Healthcare support workers and students.
