Toyoshi Fujimoto, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Fujimoto is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Anatomy and Molecular Cell Biology at Nagoya University School of Medicine. A graduate of Kyoto University Faculty of Medicine, he has been a postdoc at University of California, San Diego and Professor at Gunma University, before moving to Nagoya in 1999. He is a cell biologist with a research interest and over 100 publications in cell membrane, lipid droplets, and electron microscopy.
In addition to being on the Editorial Board of The Journal of Histochemistry & Cytochemistry, Dr. Fujimoto is on the Editorial Board of Journal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Cell Structure and Function, Histochemistry and Cell Biology, Acta Histochemica et Cytochemica, and Anatomical Science International. He is a past recipient of a Japanese Society of Microscopy Award (Setou Award).
