Dr. Ximiao He completed his Ph.D degree in Genomics and Bioinformatics at Beijing Institute of Genomics (BIG), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He is a Professor at School of Basic Medicine (SBM), Tongji Medical College (TJMC), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan in China, where he is also severs as Director of Genomics and Proteomics Research Center, and Director of Department of Physiology, SBM, TJMC. Prior to joining TJMC, Dr. He was a Research Fellow at National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. He’s research interests include genomics and bioinformatics, DNA methylation, nucleosome positioning, gene regulation, precision medicine and evolution of new genes. Dr. He has published 27 papers in scientific journals, such as Genome Research, NAR, Genome Biology and Evolution, BMC Genomics, Epigenetics & Chromatin, which have received >2000 citations.
