Therapeutic Advances in Infectious Disease (TAI) is a peer-reviewed open access journal, which focuses on the highest quality research, reviews and scholarly comment on pioneering efforts and innovative studies across all areas of infectious disease. This includes articles examining the social determinants of health. The journal is aimed at an international audience of clinicians, researchers and students/trainees in infectious disease, providing an online forum for publishing the highest quality articles in this field.

The APC serves to support the journal and ensures that articles are freely accessible online in perpetuity under a Creative Commons licence. The APC for this journal is currently 2650 USD. The journal welcomes unsolicited article proposals. Review articles include expert opinion/perspective, narrative reviews and therapeutic area reviews. Systematic reviews, meta-analyses, health-economic and pharma-economic reviews are also welcomed. The appropriate EQUATOR Network reporting guidelines should be followed (e.g. CONSORT for randomized, controlled trials and PRISMA for systematic reviews/meta-analyses).
