The International Year of the Nurse and Midwife has been extended into 2021. Geraldine S. Pearson discusses how COVID-19 has affected both nursing practice and education, what this means for the nursing profession, and her hopes for the future of nursing. Geraldine is Editor in Chief of the Journal of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
