Mary E. Harrington Smith College, USA
Mary Harrington received a B.S. in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University, an M.A, in Psychology from the University of Toronto and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Dalhousie University in Canada. Currently, she is the Tippit Professor in the Life Sciences at Smith College in Massachusetts, where she teaches various courses in the Neuroscience Program and Psychology Department. In addition, she is a member of the Neuroscience and Behavior Program at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Mary has published extensively and has received research grants from NIH, NSF, Mellon Foundation and Pfizer. She recently published the third edition of her textbook
The Design of Experiments in Neuroscience. She serves as the chair of the Education Committee for SRBR and is the co-organizer (with Karyn Esser) of the 2020 International Chronobiology Summer School.
