Tracey Skillington University College Cork, Ireland

Tracey Skillington is Director of the BA (Sociology) in the Department of Sociology & Criminology, University College Cork. Her research interests include climate change, theories of justice, human rights, territory, democratization, global ethics, Arctic research, institutional learning (political, social and legal), intergenerational inequalities and border practices. To date, she has published two monographs on the justice dimensions of global climate change, Climate Justice & Human Rights (Palgrave, 2017) and Climate Change & Intergenerational Justice (Routledge, 2019) and many articles in such journals as the European Journal of Social Theory, the British Journal of Sociology, the International Journal of Human Rights, Sociology,  the Irish Journal of Sociology and Distinktion: Journal of Social Theory. She is also a member of the editorial board of the Sociological Review and Sociological Research Online and is presently leading UCC as a partner in the Horizon 2020 funded project JUSTNORTH (2020-2023).
