Yu (April) Chen is a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Education at Iowa State University. Her research focuses on psychosocial factors that influence community college students’ success; science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education; and international students in community colleges.

Ssu-Han Yu is a PhD researcher in the Department of Media and Communications at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She is interested in how people understand media and how their everyday life is mediated. Adopting a generational approach, she is investigating into the political use of social media of young people in Taiwan.
