SAGE titles honored by Library Journal and ALA'S RUSA
Los Angeles, Four more SAGE titles have recently received recognition for excellence. Library Journal has chosen three titles to be included in its Best Reference 2014 list and ALA’s RUSA, Reference and User Services Association, chose two titles for its Outstanding Reference Sources list. One title, Encyclopedia of Humor Studies, was included in both lists.
The annual Library Journal Best Reference list recognizes the top reference titles that have been reviewed in the publication during the previous year. The SAGE titles included this year are:
- Encyclopedia of Education Economics and Finance – Dominic J. Brewer, Lawrence O Picus
- Encyclopedia of Humor Studies –Salvatore Attardo
- Encyclopedia of Social Media and Politics – Kerric Harvey
Each year, RUSA’s Outstanding Reference Sources Committee lists what they call “the most noteworthy reference titles published in the previous year” in their Outstanding References Sources list. The two SAGE titles chosen to be included in the 2015 list are:
- The Encyclopedia of Deception –Timothy R. Levine
- The Encyclopedia of Humor Studies – Salvatore Attardo
