The book assumes no prior knowledge or experience, and the authors' tone is conversational, revealing that interviewers can make mistakes, recover from them and still obtain rich and meaningful information.
Excellent text for my first-year doctoral students in their qualitative methods class. Includes theory, a broad number of examples, practice, and most of all, a humanistic, action research orientation. I will continue to use this text. Thank you!
