For this and all other modules, this is a useful reference book for both struggling students and good students who want to improve their marks to excellent.
Helpful book for those new to academic writing.
good general reader
A very good update of an already fine book. Strongly recommended for all students.
A useful book, especially for those new to post-graduate study, it perhaps lacks some focus in its application but contains much useful guidance that I would wish all candidates on PG programmes would heed.
A practical guide for students with valuable exercises
A good clear text which was laid out in an user friendly manner. Up to date and addressed sme of the professional issues that students do not consider.
Most cases and examples do not match very well with the type of exams and presentations we take our German students through. I like the concept of the book and might adopt it when I teach in the UK or in the US, but in the German university context it does not fit very well.
This book is in our library and I refer students to it and recommend that they buy a copy.
Would recommend this book to all graduate students
