Bree McEwan is an Associate Professor in the Institute of Communication, Culture, and Information Technology at the University of Toronto – Mississauga and an Associate Director of the University of Toronto Data Sciences Institute. Her research focuses on the intersection of interpersonal communication and social technologies. She teaches communication research methods and social media analytics. She is the author of Navigating New Media Networks and the mediated skewed diffusion of issues information theory published in Social Media + Society.
