Adam Matthew release extract of major American History collection

Marlborough, UK - From July 1^st-31^st, Adam Matthew will enable free access to ‘American History in 100 Documents’: one-hundred hand-picked documents and associated analysis of their importance from American History, 1493-1945, sourced exclusively from the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History in New York.

Sage has an agreement with The University of Michigan to publish articles open access. The agreement for participating organizations will run from the 1st January 2024, through to the 31st December 2024. The details of the agreement are as follows: 

To qualify for the agreement, the corresponding author must be affiliated with The University of Michigan and have an article accepted for publication in 2024.

SAGE white paper presents collaborative opportunities for improving discoverability in 2015

What can libraries, publishers, and other members of the community do to overcome them? “Improving the Discoverability of Scholarly Content: Academic Library Priorities and Perspectives,” a new SAGE white paper out today, discusses new ways for members of the scholarly communications supply chain to come together to solve discoverability issues.

Sage has an agreement with WHEEL (Wales Higher Education Electronic Library) from 2020 to 2022. As of 1^st January 2023, all institutions that were a part of our WHEEL agreement have now joined the UK Jisc agreement.

Open Access Prepaid Accounts (OAPAs)

Institutions with an open access prepaid account (OAPA) have a fund with Sage which can be used to cover open access processing charges (APCs) in both gold open access and hybrid journals.

Los Angeles, CA - SAGE and the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS) are delighted to announce the winners of the 2014 SAGE Junior Faculty Professional Development Teaching Award. Created in 2008, this award was developed to recognize new teaching professionals in the criminal justice and criminology disciplines. Each winner has received a travel stipend to attend the ACJS Professional Development Teaching Workshop at the 2014 ACJS Annual Meeting.
